Follow Up: How to Track Conversations You Need to Come Back To

Follow Up lets you flag client conversations you need to come back to later — like a bookmark for your messages. Mark a conversation now, find it easily when you are ready.


How to Mark a Client for Follow Up

From the Client Menu

  1. Hover over any client in the sidebar

  2. Click the three dots menu (⋯) that appears

  3. Select Follow Up

An orange flag will appear next to the client name to confirm it has been marked.

Bulk Select Multiple Clients

  1. Click the checkbox next to multiple clients to select them

  2. In the blue toolbar that appears, click the three dots menu (⋯)

  3. Select Follow Up to mark all selected clients at once


Finding Your Follow Up Conversations

At the top of the Messages sidebar, you will see two toggle bars:

  • Waiting for Reply — clients waiting for a coach reply

  • Follow Up — clients you have flagged for follow up

Toggle Follow Up on to filter your sidebar and see only the conversations you have marked. The badge shows how many follow up conversations you currently have.


Removing a Follow Up

When you are done with a follow up, remove it the same way you added it:

  • Single client: Click the three dots menu (⋯) on the client and select Remove Follow Up

  • Bulk remove: Toggle the Follow Up filter on, select the clients, then use the bulk menu to select Remove Follow Up


Important Notes

  • A client can be both waiting for a reply and marked for follow up — these are separate filters

  • Your filter preference is saved automatically — leave the page and come back, your last filter will still be active

  • Follow up flags are shared across your team — if you mark a client, other coaches will see the flag too
