Broadcasts let you send the same message to multiple clients at once — each client receives it in their individual Trainerize chat thread (not a group thread). They won't know it was a broadcast.
How to Send a Broadcast
Go to Trainerize Messages
Click the Broadcast button (top right)
Select Recipients — two ways:
Manual: Search and select individual clients. Use "Select All" to pick everyone.
Smart View: Pick a saved Smart View — all matching clients are auto-selected.
Compose your message — write text or attach a file
Select Sender — choose a specific trainer or "Assigned Coach" (sends as each client's own coach)
Click Send
Schedule a Broadcast for Later
Instead of sending immediately, you can schedule a broadcast:
After composing your message, click the dropdown arrow next to Send
Choose a time:
Later today
Tomorrow (9:00 AM)
Monday (9:00 AM)
One week from now
Custom — pick any date and time
Scheduled broadcasts appear in the Scheduled tab where you can edit or cancel them before they send.
Managing Scheduled Broadcasts
In the Broadcast dialog, click the Scheduled tab to see all pending broadcasts. From there you can:
Edit — change the message, recipients, or scheduled time
Cancel — stop a broadcast before it sends
Important Notes
Only active clients with a Trainerize thread appear as recipients
Attachment-only messages (no text) can only be sent by the Trainerize Owner account — coaches cannot send attachment-only broadcasts
Coaches (non-admin) only see their assigned clients unless your business has "coaches can see all clients" enabled
