You can schedule messages to send later — to individual clients or Trainerize groups. You can also set messages to repeat automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.

Schedule a Message to a Client

  1. Open a client conversation

  2. Type your message in the composer

  3. Click the clock icon next to the Send button

  4. Choose a time:

    • Later today — 3 hours from now

    • Tomorrow — 9:00 AM

    • Monday — next Monday at 9:00 AM

    • One week from now

    • One month from now

    • Custom — pick any date and time

The message will be sent automatically at the scheduled time from the selected sender.

Schedule a Message in a Trainerize Group

  1. Open a group conversation

  2. Type your message in the composer

  3. Click the clock icon next to the Send button

  4. Choose your schedule time (same presets as above)

Set Up Recurring (Repeat) Messages

When scheduling a message, you can also set it to repeat automatically.

  1. Schedule a message using the steps above

  2. Click the Repeat option

  3. Choose a frequency:

    • Daily — sends every day at the same time

    • Weekly — sends on the same day each week

    • Monthly — sends on the same date each month

  4. Optionally set an end date or number of repeats

Recurring messages are great for weekly group motivation, monthly check-in reminders, or daily accountability nudges.

Managing Scheduled Messages

All scheduled and recurring messages appear in the Scheduled Messages dashboard. From there you can:

  • View all pending messages with their scheduled times

  • Edit the message content or schedule

  • Cancel a scheduled message before it sends

Important Notes

  • Scheduled messages work for both individual client conversations and Trainerize group threads

  • Messages are sent from the trainer account that created the schedule

  • If a recurring message fails to send, it will retry automatically

  • You can schedule messages alongside broadcast scheduling — they are separate features
