Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you offer annual billing or annual discounts?
A: No. FitMetrics does not offer annual billing because we charge per active client per month.
Coaching businesses naturally gain and lose clients monthly, so flexible monthly billing is the only model that makes sense.
Q: What happens if I'm on the Starter plan and have fewer than 50 clients?
A: You will still be charged the minimum monthly amount, even if you go below the required client count.

If your active client count drops below the package minimum, you will still be billed for the minimum.
Q: I'm on the Starter plan. Can I pay for just 1 client to use the blood test portal?
A: No.
The blood test portal is a Business-only feature, and upgrading applies to your entire account.
You cannot upgrade individual clients — all active coaching clients in Trainerize will be billed at the Business package rate.
Q: Do I get charged for all my clients in Trainerize?
A: Yes. FitMetrics charges for all clients marked as "Coaching" inside your Trainerize Billing page.
Trainerize → Settings → Billing → You will see the exact number of active coaching clients.

Basic clients → not billed, but:
They do not appear inside FitMetrics
They have no FitMetrics access
Q: Can I exclude clients from FitMetrics?
A: Yes — but only with support approval.

Once approved, excluded clients will be hidden from FitMetrics and will not have access to any features
Important: Excluded clients have zero access to FitMetrics (no messages, AI, dashboards, data, or integrations).
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Yes — but only for businesses with 1,000+ active clients.
Here is the discount structure:

How it works:
Discount applies to your total client count

Q: If I upgrade from Starter ($6) to Business ($10), does the price increase apply to ALL my clients?
A: Yes. When you upgrade your package, all active coaching clients in your Trainerize account are billed at the new rate. You cannot selectively upgrade some clients and keep others on the old plan.
Example: If you have 140 clients on the Starter plan ($6/client = $840/month) and upgrade to Business ($10/client), your new bill will be $1,400/month — that's $10 for each of the 140 clients. The increase applies to your entire account, not per feature or per client.
This is because FitMetrics packages are account-level, not client-level. All clients under your business get the same package and features.
