📍 What Are Smart Views?

Smart Views let you save custom filters for your Trainerize Clients table so you can quickly access specific groups of clients without reapplying filters every time.
They’re designed to make client management faster, easier, and more organized.

1. Why Use Smart Views?

By leveraging all the available columns in the Trainerize Clients table, you can create targeted views such as:

  • Clients who haven’t logged in for more than 30 days (red flag for engagement)

  • Clients whose memberships are expiring soon

  • Clients marked as At Risk

  • Clients enrolled in a specific program

  • Clients with a specific tag, trainer, or goal

These saved views appear in your sidebar menu for one-click access.

2. How to Create a Smart View

  1. Go to Trainerize Clients in FitMetrics.

  2. Apply filters using any available column.

    • Example: Filter Last LoginOlder than 30 days.

  3. Click Save As.

  4. Give your Smart View a name (e.g., At Risk Clients).

  5. Save — your Smart View will now appear in the sidebar menu.

3. Smart View Sharing Options

When saving a Smart View, choose its visibility:

  • Private – Only you can see it.

  • Business-wide – Shared with all team members in your account.

  • Specific Team Members – Only selected coaches can access it.

4. Where Smart Views Can Be Used

Once created, Smart Views are available throughout FitMetrics:

  • Trainerize Messages – Filter conversations by Smart View.

  • Onboarding – See new clients matching your view.

  • Compliance Tracker – Focus on specific client segments.

  • Leaderboard – Display only selected clients.

  • Almost everywhere within the platform

💡 Pro Tips

  • Create Smart Views for key operational checks (e.g., “Inactive 30+ Days,” “At Risk Clients,” “High Engagement”).

  • Set them up early so your team stays organized from day one.

  • Combine Smart Views with compliance tracking to make coaching decisions faster.
