Connecting Whop allows FitMetrics to:

Match purchases to coaching clients
See revenue inside Payments Tracker
⚠️ Important: FitMetrics is read-only.
We do not create charges, manage products, or issue refunds.
Step-by-Step: Connect Whop to FitMetrics
1️⃣ Log in to Your Whop Account
Go to your Whop dashboard.
2️⃣ Open Developer Settings
From the site menu, click Dashboard
Go to All Tools
Click More
Select Developer
3️⃣ Create a Company API Key
Click Company API Keys
Click Create
Give the key a name (recommended: FitMetrics)
Make sure Permissions are set to:
Inherit permissions from role
Role must be Admin
Click Create
4️⃣ Copy Your API Key
Once created, Whop will generate an API key.
⚠️ Copy it immediately — store it safely.
5️⃣ Connect Whop to FitMetrics
Go to FitMetrics → Payments Tracker
Click Connect Whop
Paste your Whop API Key
Save
FitMetrics will begin syncing Whop payments automatically.
How Client Matching Works
FitMetrics matches Whop purchases to clients using email address.
✅ Works automatically when:
Whop purchase email
Trainerize client email
are the same
When Emails Don’t Match
If emails don’t match:
The payment will still sync
The client will appear as unlinked
You can manually link the client inside FitMetrics using the Search & Link Customer option (same flow as Stripe).
What Gets Synced from Whop
FitMetrics syncs:
Purchases
Customers
Payment history
Revenue per client
❌ FitMetrics does not:
Create products
Manage subscriptions
Issue refunds
Modify Whop settings
Whop remains fully in control of payments.
