If you run different tasks or check-ins depending on the client’s week, FitMetrics makes it easy to identify exactly where each client is in their journey.

You can do this using Smart Views + the Days in Program column.

How it Works

FitMetrics automatically calculates Days in Program based on:

  • The day the client was created in Trainerize, and

  • The current date

This gives you a real-time count of how long they’ve been in the program.

Because of this, you can create Smart Views like:

  • Week 1 → Days in Program: 1–7

  • Week 2 → Days in Program: 8–14

  • Week 3 → Days in Program: 15–21

  • …and so on for all weeks in your coaching duration.

Step-by-Step: Create Weekly Smart Views

1. Go to Trainerize Clients

From the left menu, open Trainerize Clients.

2. Click “Filter”

You’ll see a filter popup where you can apply conditions.

3. Use the “Days in Program” column

Set the filter:

  • Days in Program → between → X and Y

Example for Week 1:
Days in Program between 1 and 7

(Make sure TZ Status is Active because you need only Active Trainerize clients)

4. Save it as a Smart View

Click Save as Smart View, and name it:

  • Week 1

  • Week 2

  • Week 3

  • …etc.

Quick Tip: Avoid Overlapping Week Ranges

When creating weekly Smart Views, make sure your day ranges do not overlap.
We’ve seen some coaches set:

  • Week 1 → 1–7

  • Week 2 → 7–14 ❌ (this is incorrect)

This is wrong because Day 7 appears in both Week 1 and Week 2, causing clients to show up in two Smart Views.

Correct Weekly Ranges

Follow this pattern to avoid overlap:

  • Week 1 → Days in Program between 1 and 7

  • Week 2 → Days in Program between 8 and 14

  • Week 3 → Days in Program between 15 and 21

  • Week 4 → Days in Program between 22 and 28

  • …continue the same structure for all upcoming weeks.

Each week starts exactly one day after the previous week ends, so no client appears twice.

Why This Is Useful

  • Quickly see which clients are in each week

  • Automate call reminders, homework, check-ins for each week

  • Group clients for specific weekly tasks

  • Keep your workflow organized without manually tracking start dates
