Why Create an AI Assistant Account?
FitMetrics sends AI-powered messages through Trainerize. Creating a dedicated AI Assistant team member:
Keeps AI messages separate from human coaches.
Makes it clear to clients which messages are automated.
Allows you to assign the AI as the message sender in FitMetrics.
Step 1: Add a New Team Member in Trainerize
Log in to Trainerize.
Navigate to Team → Add New Team Member.
Step 2: Adding New Team Member (AI Assistant)
Name your assistant:
First Name: Your Business Name (e.g., XeniosFitness)
Last Name: Assistant
(e.g., XeniosFitness Assistant)
You don’t need a new email account.
You can use your existing email with a “+” alias.
Example:
[email protected]→[email protected]
All emails sent to
support+AI@...will still arrive in your main inbox.
Step 3: Profile & Permissions
Profile Picture: (Optional) Upload a unique avatar or your company logo for transparency.
Permissions: No need to assign clients to this account — the AI will send messages automatically.
Step 4: Sync with FitMetrics
Go to FitMetrics → Settings → Trainerize Integration. https://app.fitmetrics.ai/business/settings/trainerize-integration
Click Sync (top-right).
Within seconds, the AI Assistant will appear in your FitMetrics team list.
Step 5: Set AI Message Sender
Go to Messaging Settings in FitMetrics.
Under AI Message Sender, select the AI Assistant you just created.
Save your settings — you’re ready to go!
Ethical Considerations
Be transparent: Name your assistant clearly (e.g., Your Business Assistant).
Avoid confusion: Ensure clients know they are interacting with an AI system, not a human coach.
