Step 1: Create a Test Client in Trainerize
Log in to Trainerize.
Go to Clients → New.
Add your email address, and set the first and last name exactly as they appear on your FitMetrics owner account.
Click Add and Send Invite.
Step 2: Sync the New Client in FitMetrics
Once your test client is added in Trainerize:
Go to FitMetrics → Settings → Trainerize. https://app.fitmetrics.ai/business/settings/trainerize-integration
Click Sync to pull the new client immediately (instead of waiting for the standard 30-minute sync).
Wait 1–5 minutes for the client to appear.
Step 3: Retrieve the Client’s Threads
Go to Trainerize Clients in FitMetrics.
Search for the test account you just created.
3. Scroll to the “Threads” column in the table.
4. Click the Sync Threads button to retrieve the client’s messaging thread.
Important: Without thread syncing, you won’t be able to send messages to this client from FitMetrics.
Step 4: Test AI Messaging
Open the Trainerize iPhone app (as a client).
Tip: Keep both apps on your phone:
Trainerize (Coach login)
Your Custom Branded App (Client login)
Log in as the client (test account).
Send a message like “Test”.
Confirm that the message appears inside FitMetrics → Trainerize Messages.
If it appears, your integration is working successfully.
Step 5: Troubleshooting
Client not showing in FitMetrics?
Click Sync manually and wait 1–5 minutes.
Threads not appearing?
Click the Sync Threads button again.
Messages not syncing?
Make sure you’re logged in as the client (not the coach) in Trainerize when sending the test message.
