How to Use Reactions in Trainerize Messages

React to client messages with emoji reactions in FitMetrics — add thumbs up, cheer, confetti, and more directly from the message view.

You can now react to messages in Trainerize conversations directly from FitMetrics. Reactions appear as emoji pills below the message — visible to both you and the client in Trainerize.


How to Add a Reaction

  1. Open a client conversation

  2. Hover over any message

  3. Click the smiley face icon that appears

  4. Choose a reaction:

    • 👍 Thumbs Up

    • 🎉 Cheer

    • 🎊 Confetti

    • 🙌 High Five

    • 😜 Taunts

    • 👎 Thumbs Down

The reaction appears instantly below the message as a pill with the emoji and count.


How to Remove a Reaction

Click on your own reaction pill (highlighted in blue) to remove it.


Viewing Reactions

Hover over any reaction pill to see who reacted — a tooltip shows the names of everyone who used that reaction.

Your own reactions are highlighted with a blue border. Client reactions appear with a gray border.


Reactions in Groups

Reactions also work in Trainerize Groups. The same emoji picker and reaction pills are available in group conversations.


Important Notes

  • Reactions sync with Trainerize — clients see them in their Trainerize app

  • These are the same reaction types available in the Trainerize mobile app

  • You can only remove your own reactions, not other people's
