How to Open Search
Three ways to open it:
Keyboard shortcut: Press
Cmd+K(Mac) orCtrl+K(Windows) from anywhere in FitMetricsSidebar: Click Search in the sidebar
Top bar: Click the search icon in the top navigation
A search dialog opens as an overlay on top of your current page.

Clients (Live Data)
Search all your Trainerize clients and Blood Test clients by name
Click a client to go directly to their profile
Smart Views
Find your saved Smart Views instantly
Messages
When you type 3+ characters, FitMetrics searches your Trainerize message history in real time
Click a result to jump directly to that conversation thread
Settings
Search deeply into settings — find specific options like "timezone", "compliance rules", "SMTP", "team members", and more
Each result links directly to the exact settings page

Business package users get access to Ask FitMetrics AI — an experimental conversational AI agent built into SearchAI.
How to Open the AI Agent
Open Search (
Cmd+K)Click Ask FitMetrics AI at the bottom of the search dialog
The dialog expands into a full chat interface
Type your question in natural language
What You Can Ask
Ask anything about your business data:
"How is John doing this week?"
"Which clients haven't logged nutrition in the last 7 days?"
"Show me Sarah's compliance for the last 12 weeks"

The AI analyzes your actual client data in real time — nutrition, workouts, compliance, messages, WHOOP/Oura data, body composition, and more.
@-Mention Clients
Type @ in the AI chat to mention a specific client. A dropdown appears where you can search and select the client. The AI will focus its analysis on that person.
Follow-Up Questions
The AI remembers your conversation context. You can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself:
"How is @John doing?"
"What about his workouts specifically?"
"Compare that to last month"
Page-Aware Context
If you open Search while viewing a specific client's profile, the AI automatically knows which client you're looking at. You can just ask "How is this client doing?" without specifying a name.
Proposed Actions
The AI can suggest actions based on your questions — like navigating to a client profile, adjusting macros, or assigning habits. When an action is proposed, you'll see a confirmation card. Click Confirm to execute or Cancel to skip.

The AI can access and analyze:
Client profiles — goals, status, program details
Nutrition data — calories, macros, nutrition goals
Workout data — training history, volume, exercises
Compliance — weekly traffic light scores
Body composition — weight trends, body fat
Messages — recent conversation history
WHOOP data — recovery, sleep, strain, HRV
Oura Ring data — readiness, sleep, activity
Check-ins — AI check-in history
Progress photos — photo metadata and dates
