The FitMetrics AI Agent is an experimental AI-powered assistant built into SearchAI. It lets you ask natural language questions about your business data, analyze client progress, and even take actions — all from within FitMetrics.

This is a Business package feature and is currently experimental.

Note: This is separate from the standard SearchAI navigation feature (available on all plans). SearchAI lets you quickly navigate to any page, find clients, and search messages. The FitMetrics AI Agent adds an AI conversation layer on top of that.

How to Open the AI Agent

  1. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open SearchAI

  2. Click Ask FitMetrics AI at the bottom of the search dialog

  3. The dialog expands into a full conversational chat interface

If you're not on the Business package, this button shows as greyed out with an upgrade prompt.

How to Ask About a Specific Client

Type @ in the chat input to open the client picker:

  1. Type @ followed by the client's name

  2. A dropdown appears — select the client

  3. The client's name is inserted into your question

  4. Ask your question

Example: "How is @Sarah Mitchell doing this week?"

Example Questions

Client Analysis

  • "How is @John doing this week?"

  • "Show me @Sarah's nutrition compliance for the last month"

  • "Has @Mike been logging his workouts?"

  • "What are @Lisa's current macros?"

Business Overview

  • "Which clients need attention right now?"

  • "Who hasn't logged nutrition in the last 7 days?"

  • "Show me clients with expiring programs"

  • "What did the team accomplish today?"

Data Queries

  • "Show me compliance summary for all clients"

  • "What's the team's average response time?"

  • "Summarize my last Zoom call with @Mike"

Page-Aware Context

If you open SearchAI while viewing a specific client's profile, the AI Agent automatically knows which client you're looking at. You can ask:

  • "How is this client doing?"

  • "Show their nutrition data"

  • "What workouts did they complete?"

No need to type the client's name — the AI picks it up from the page context.

Follow-Up Questions

The AI Agent remembers your conversation. You can ask follow-ups naturally:

  1. "How is @John doing?"

  2. "What about his workouts specifically?"

  3. "Compare that to last month"

  4. "Any PRs?"

Proposed Actions

The AI Agent doesn't just answer questions — it can propose actions:

  • Navigate — "Go to John's profile" → auto-navigates instantly

  • Modify data — "Set John's calories to 2200" → shows a confirmation card

  • Assign habits — "Assign a water habit to Mike" → shows a confirmation card

Navigation happens instantly. Data modifications always show a Confirm / Cancel card first — nothing happens without your approval.

Thinking Steps

While the AI processes your question, you'll see live thinking steps — showing what data it's analyzing and how it's reasoning. These collapse after the answer is ready. This transparency lets you understand how the AI arrived at its answer.

Data the AI Agent Can Access

The agent analyzes real client data in real time:

  • Client profiles — goals, status, program details

  • Nutrition data — calories, macros, nutrition goals

  • Workout data — training history, volume, exercises

  • Compliance — weekly traffic light scores

  • Body composition — weight trends, body fat

  • Messages — recent conversation history

  • WHOOP & Oura data — recovery, sleep, strain, HRV

  • Check-ins — AI check-in history

  • Progress photos — photo metadata and dates

Tips for Best Results

  • Be specific — "Show me @John's nutrition for last week" works better than "Tell me about John"

  • Use @mentions — always @mention clients by name for the most accurate results

  • Ask follow-ups — the AI remembers context, so drill deeper into any answer

  • Use it before calls — quick "How is @ClientName doing?" before a coaching call gives you instant context
