❗ Why This Happens

When setting up the AI Workout Builder, some coaches accidentally import all their custom Trainerize exercises into the AI Builder library.

This can cause:

  • Hundreds of unwanted exercises in the list

  • Slower exercise selection

  • Irrelevant exercises appearing in AI programs

The good news: It’s very easy to fix.

🛠️ How to Remove Unwanted Exercises

Follow these steps:

Step 1 — Go to the AI Workout Builder Settings

  1. Open FitMetrics

  2. Go to AI

  3. Click AI Workout Builder

  4. Click Configure

  5. On the top right, click Settings

  6. Click the Manage button

Step 2 — View Your Current Exercise List

You will now see the full list of exercises currently loaded into the AI Workout Builder.

From here, you can:

  • Delete exercises one-by-one

  • Or delete them in bulk

  • Or search for specific exercises to remove

Step 3 — Select Exercises to Remove

You have two options:

Option A — Delete Specific Exercises

  1. Use the search bar to find exercises

  2. Select the ones you want to remove

  3. Click Delete

Option B — Delete Many Exercises at Once

Perfect if you accidentally added all exercises.

  1. Use the Select All checkbox

  2. Or filter/search to only select the category you want

  3. Click Delete

This will instantly remove all selected exercises from the AI Workout Builder library.

Step 4 — Done!

The deleted exercises are now removed from:

  • The AI Workout Builder

  • AI-generated workouts

  • The exercise picker

You can now re-import only the exercises you want.

👍 Tips & Best Practices

1. Only import exercises you actually use

This keeps your AI results clean and accurate.

2. Start with a small set

We recommend having at least:

  • 25+ custom exercises (minimum)

  • 50–100 exercises for best variety

3. You can re-import anytime

Just click Fetch From Trainerize again.

4. Use categories or naming

Makes searching and managing easier.
