🔧 Step-by-Step: Connect Zoom to FitMetrics

Integrating Zoom is quick — but you need to follow this guide exactly to avoid issues later.

✅ Step 1: Connect Your Zoom Account

  1. Go to Settings inside your FitMetrics account.

  2. Click on Integrations.

  3. Find Zoom and click Connect.

  4. You’ll be redirected to Zoom to authorize the integration.

⚠️ Only the Zoom admin of your organization should do this.
Make sure you’re using a Zoom Pro account and that all your team members are added as users under this account.

🔁 Step 2: Update Your Zoom Settings

After connecting Zoom, you must update your Zoom recording settings to allow AI processing.

🧠 On zoom.com:

  1. Log in to your Zoom account at zoom.us.

  2. Go to SettingsRecording.

  3. Enable:

    • Cloud Recording

    • Create Audio Transcript

    • (Optional but recommended) ✅ Automatic Recording

If you don’t record your Zoom calls in the cloud, FitMetrics will not receive anything to analyze. You must remember to cloud record — or turn on automatic cloud recording to make your life easier.

👥 Step 3: Repeat for Your Team Members

You must manually update the recording settings for every coach under your Zoom admin account.

  1. On zoom.com, go to AdminUser ManagementUsers

  2. Click on each coach’s profile

  3. Go to SettingsRecording

  4. Enable:

    • ✅ Cloud Recording

    • ✅ Create Audio Transcript

    • ✅ Automatic Recording (optional but recommended)

    • Uncheck the option: “Host can pause/stop auto cloud recording”

🛑 If this setting is left checked, coaches could accidentally stop the recording, and the AI will miss the call.

✅ Done! What Happens Next?

Once this is all set:

  • Every Zoom call you cloud record will automatically be analyzed by the AI.

  • A few minutes after Zoom finishes processing the transcript, you’ll see the Call Summary and Action Items appear in FitMetrics.

That’s it. You’re ready to roll.
