Let’s be honest… your AI shouldn’t be replying to every “lol” or “thank you” in the chat.

That’s why trigger phrases exist — so the AI only responds when it’s meant to. 👇

🚀 What Are Trigger Phrases?

Trigger phrases are specific words your clients must type at the start of a message to activate the AI Assistant.

If they don’t include a trigger → the AI stays silent. 🤐

💡 Best Practice Tips:

✅ Use Clear and Intentional Phrases:

  • “Hey coach” – Default and works well

  • “/ask” – Great for businesses that want a more structured feel

  • “?” – Super short and easy to remember

  • “AI:” – If you want clients to directly talk to the assistant

❌ Avoid:

  • Words that clients use too often in casual chat like “help” or “question”

  • Phrases that might trigger false positives

⚙️ How to Set Trigger Phrases:

  1. Go to Settings → AI Assistant → Custom Trigger Phrases

  2. Add or remove phrases as needed

  3. Let your clients know which phrase to use to get help from the AI 🙌

💬 Bonus Tip:

Want zero confusion? Set the AI to only reply when the question starts with a symbol (like “/”) and teach clients how to use it. Makes the assistant feel more like a smart command tool than a random reply bot.
