Messaging your Trainerize clients through FitMetrics is faster, smarter, and more powerful than ever. Here’s how to get the most out of it.
✅ Step 1: Check Your Trainer Link
Before anything, make sure your FitMetrics account is linked to a Trainerize trainer profile.
Go to Settings → Team Members
Make sure your account is connected to a valid Trainerize trainer
🔁 This should’ve already been set up during the Get Started process, but double-check — without this, you won’t be able to send messages.
💬 Step 2: Open a Client Chat
Head to Trainerize Messages
Select the client you want to message
The default thread (as explained in the threads article) will open automatically
If needed, you can manually select a different thread
✍️ Step 3: Use the Message Composer
The message composer is where the real magic happens.
🤖 AI Auto-Draft
The AI reads the recent conversation and suggests a reply
Just hit
Tab
to insert it instantly
You can also highlight any text and press

📝 Notes for Internal Use
At the top of the composer, you’ll notice two tabs: Messages and Notes.
Messages go directly to the client
Notes are private and can only be seen by your team
These are synced to the Compliance Tracker
If you leave the note empty and press
Tab
, FitMetrics will auto-write a 7-day summary of your conversation with the client — perfect for fast internal updates
🚀 When You’re Ready, Hit Send
Once your message is composed, reviewed, and polished by AI or tools — just click Send.
That’s it. You’ve now sent a smart, organized, and AI-optimized message directly to your Trainerize client through FitMetrics.
