🥇 Option 1 – Recommended Method (Document via Trainerize Messages)
In FitMetrics, go to AI → AI Meal Analysis. https://app.fitmetrics.ai/business/ai/meal-analysis
Scroll to the bottom and click “Send instructions to selected clients”.
This sends a document to your chosen clients with their personal link to start logging meals.
Why this works best:
Trainerize stores these documents inside Messages (look for the small exclamation mark icon at the top right in Trainerize Messages).
Clients can always re-open the document later without losing the link.
No extra steps — they receive and store the link in one go.
🥈 Option 2 – Group Chat Method
In FitMetrics, export the ZIP file containing AI Meal Analysis instructions for all clients.
Locate each client’s unique link from the export.
In Trainerize, create a group chat that includes you (the trainer) and the client with the following settings.
Paste their personalized link into the chat.
⚠️ Note: This works, but I don’t recommend it over Option 1 — the link is easier to lose, and it’s less organized.
🥉 Option 3 – Custom Habit Method
In Trainerize, go to Master Libraries → Habits.
Create a new folder called “AI Meal Analysis”.
For each client, create a habit named:
AI Meal Analysis – FirstName LastNamePaste their unique link into the habit and attach it manually.
Why this is cool:
The link appears as part of their daily habits in Trainerize.
Clients get a consistent reminder to use the tool.
🏋️ Option 4 – Workout Program Method
In Trainerize, open a workout program.
Add the client’s unique AI Meal Analysis link into the program description or notes.
The link will appear inside their workout schedule.
🔑 Important Notes
Every client has a unique link (you’ll see their ID in the URL).
The four methods above are the only proven methods for reliably sharing links with clients in Trainerize.
Some coaches teach clients to bookmark their link on their phone’s home screen (iPhone or Android) — no need to open Trainerize at all.
💡 Pro Tip
If you want maximum adoption and minimal client confusion, use Option 1. It’s the most organized, scalable and foolproof way to deliver the link, and clients can always find it later.
