You can fully automate adding new Trainerize clients to the Blood Test Portal and optionally give them course access using Automations in FitMetrics.
This is perfect if you want new clients to get portal + course access instantly, without doing anything manually.
What This Automation Does
When a new Trainerize client is added, FitMetrics can automatically:
✅ Create a Blood Test Portal account for the client
✅ Assign the correct portal plan (Starter or Pro)
✅ Give access to one or more courses
✅ Send access automatically (no manual work)
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Go to Automations
Open FitMetrics
Go to Automations
Click Create Automation
Give it any name you want (e.g. Auto-Enroll New Clients)
Step 2: Choose the Trigger
For this example, use:
Trigger:
New Trainerize Client Added
This means the automation will run every time a new client is added in Trainerize.
Step 3: Add the Action – Portal Client
Click Add Action
Select Portal Client (this is the key action)
This action controls everything related to the Blood Test Portal.
Step 4: Configure the Portal Client Action
Inside Portal Client, choose:
Portal Plan
Starter → Client can upload up to 5 blood results
Pro → Client can upload up to 15 blood results
Course Access (Optional)
Select one or more courses to give the client access to
If you don’t select a course, the client will still see available courses but won’t be able to watch them
Once configured, save the action.
That’s It 🎉
From now on:
Every new Trainerize client is automatically added to the Blood Test Portal
They receive the correct plan
They get instant access to your course(s)
No manual setup needed
Important Notes
Courses must be published to be accessible
Lessons inside courses must also be published
The client must have a valid email in Trainerize
SMTP and custom domain should already be set up for best experience
