This tool is useful when:

  • You recently connected FitMetrics

  • Clients already had historical data in Trainerize

  • Your Starting Weight / Body Fat fields are empty or incomplete

πŸš€ Where to Find the Bulk Autofill Tool

  1. Go to Trainerize Clients

  2. Find the columns:

    • Starting Weight

    • Starting Body Fat

  3. In each column, click the small settings icon (βš™οΈ)

A popup will appear with bulk options.

βš™οΈ How Autofill Works

FitMetrics automatically searches for the first recorded value the client ever logged inside Trainerize (and synced into FitMetrics).

  • We search back up to January 1, 2024

  • If we find a valid value β†’ we use it

  • If there’s no data β†’ field remains empty

This ensures your starting metrics are accurate and historically meaningful.

✨ Autofill Options Explained

Inside the popup, you’ll see two options:

βœ… Option 1: Fill Only Empty Values (Recommended)

Use this when:

  • Some clients already have correct starting values

  • You only want to set missing ones

FitMetrics will ONLY fill fields that are blank.

You will also see how many clients currently have empty values β€” so you know exactly what you are updating.

πŸ” Option 2: Overwrite All Values

Use this when:

  • You want to reset ALL starting values

  • Initial entries were incorrect

  • You want everything to be consistent

This will replace every existing value (for all clients) using the first available Trainerize log.

⚠️ Use carefully β€” this overrides current values.

πŸ“Œ Works for Both Weight & Body Fat

You can run autofill separately for:

  • Starting Weight

  • Starting Body Fat

The logic is identical:

  • We detect the first logged value

  • We auto-populate it as the starting metric

🧠 Why This Matters

Accurate starting metrics help you:

  • Track true transformation progress

  • Show before β†’ after graphs

  • Improve client motivation

  • Keep reporting consistent

And… it saves HOURS of manual work.
