FitMetrics allows you to get instant AI feedback on any workout video your client uploads.

There are two different ways to trigger an AI form analysis:

  1. Your client can request analysis automatically, or

  2. You can request the analysis manually as the coach

Below is exactly how both methods work.

1. Client-Initiated Analysis (Using /analysis Command)

If your client wants the AI to automatically analyze their form:

They simply type this before posting their video:

/analysis

Then they upload the video normally.

Once sent, the AI will detect the command and generate a form analysis message for them with:

  • Technique feedback

  • Corrections

  • Safety notes

  • Muscle activation cues

  • Setup and posture guidance

This method is great for clients who want immediate feedback.

2. Coach-Initiated Analysis (You Trigger It Manually)

If you prefer to do the analysis yourself:

  1. Go to Trainerize Messages

  2. Open the client thread

  3. Play the workout video they uploaded

  4. While watching, click the AI Form Analysis button

FitMetrics will instantly draft a full feedback message for you.

You can edit it or send it as-is.

Pro Tip: Make Long Feedback Shorter

Sometimes the AI writes a long, detailed message.
If you want a shorter version:

  1. Highlight the text

  2. Click AI Tools → More Concise

FitMetrics will rewrite it into a shorter, cleaner version.

Perfect for quick messages or clients who prefer short feedback.

Summary

There are two ways to get AI form analysis:

Client Method

  • Type /analysis before uploading the video (and no you can't change/modify that command)

  • AI replies automatically

Coach Method

  • Open the video in Trainerize Messages

  • Click AI Form Analysis

  • Review and send the drafted feedback

And you can always shorten the AI’s message using More Concise.
