When clients send /mealhelp photos to get AI calorie and macro estimates, FitMetrics can automatically add the analyzed meal to their Trainerize diary, and then delete the AI-generated messages from their Trainerize inbox.

This keeps the chat clean without affecting meal logging.

➡️ Important: Only the messages are deleted.
All meal data is still logged to the diary normally.

How to Enable Automatic Deletion of AI Meal Analysis Messages

Step 1 — Go to Advanced Meal Logging Settings

Or navigate:
AI → Meal Analysis → Configure → Advanced

Step 2 — Enable “Delete AI Messages from Trainerize”

Turn on this toggle to automatically delete AI-generated:

  • Meal analysis messages

  • Nutrition feedback

  • Summary messages

These will disappear after being delivered, keeping the chat clean.

Step 3 — Set the Deletion Delay (0–60 seconds)

Choose how long the message stays visible before being removed:

  • 0 seconds: Deletes instantly

  • 10–30 seconds: Recommended (clients can read results before they vanish)

  • 60 seconds: Maximum allowed

All meals still appear in the diary regardless of the delay you choose.

What Gets Deleted (and What Doesn’t)

✅ Deleted

  • AI meal analysis messages

  • AI nutrition feedback

  • AI summary messages

  • Trainerize “/mealhelp” messages (limited support)

❌ Not Deleted

  • The custom meal itself

  • Meal entry in Trainerize diary (Make sure to have Add Meals to Diary Automatically ON)

Does deleting messages affect meal logging?

No.
Meals are still fully analyzed and logged to the diary.
This feature only cleans up the chat, not the data.

That’s it!

Once enabled, your Trainerize inbox stays clean, clients get their analysis, and meals are logged as usual — fully automatic.
