The AI Workout Builder inside FitMetrics is the fastest way to generate fully personalized workout programs for your clients — using intelligent automation trained by real coaching logic.

Whether you’re building for a beginner at home or an advanced athlete in a full gym, this tool allows you to generate complete routines in seconds — and send them directly to Trainerize.


🛠️ How It Works (Step-by-Step)

  1. Go to AI → AI Workout Builder

  2. Click “Start AI Workout Builder”

  3. Choose the client you want to build the workout for

You’ll then be asked a few questions to help the AI customize the program:


🤖 Questions You Need to Answer:

✅ How many days per week will they be training? (1–7)

✅ How long should each session be? (20–120 min)

✅ What’s their experience level? (beginner / intermediate / advanced)

✅ Do they have any injuries or limitations?

✅ What’s their primary goal?

(e.g., muscle building, fat loss, strength, endurance)

✅ What equipment do they have access to?

(full gym, home gym, bodyweight only, etc.)

✅ Want to include supersets for added intensity? (optional)

You can upload up to 5 photos of the gym or equipment setup.

This allows the AI to scan exactly what machines, weights, or tools are available — ensuring the program is accurate to the client’s real-world environment.

After you submit the info, the AI will:

  • Build a full multi-day program

  • Add day names (e.g., Upper Body Push, Core + Cardio)

  • Add exercise lists, sets, reps, tempo, rest

  • Include a custom-written program description

  • Add daily workout descriptions too

Everything is built with best practices and human coaching logic.

After the preview is ready:

  1. Review the program

  2. Click “Send to Trainerize”

  3. Make sure it doesn’t conflict with existing programs already inside Trainerize

  4. Once confirmed, the program will appear in Trainerize for your client

⚠️ Limitations to Know

To keep things transparent, here’s what the AI can’t do (yet):

  • It does not automatically schedule workouts inside Trainerize.

    You still need to assign them manually using Trainerize’s calendar tools.

This is due to current Trainerize API limitations — not a FitMetrics issue.
