What Is the AI Command Bar?

The AI Command Bar lets you edit workout programs using natural language — bulk update sets, reps, exercises, and progression across your entire program in seconds.

Written by Xenios Charalambous

The AI Command Bar is a natural language interface inside the Program Builder that lets you make bulk edits to your workout programs by describing what you want in plain English. Instead of clicking through every workout individually, type a command and the AI applies changes across your entire program in seconds.

Why Use It

  • Save hours of manual editing — change sets, reps, or exercises across an entire program in one command

  • No clicking through every workout — one command replaces dozens of individual edits

  • Perfect for phase transitions — make program-wide adjustments before a new training block

  • Effortless deloads — create a deload week with reduced volume in a single sentence

  • Reduces human error — the AI applies consistent changes across all weeks, so nothing gets missed

  • Experiment faster — try out programming ideas quickly and undo if you don't like the result

How It Works

Open the AI Command Bar from the Program Builder toolbar. Type your command in plain English — describe what you want to change, and the AI interprets it, shows you the proposed changes, and applies them across the program or selected phase once you confirm.

Every command is saved in your command history, so you can review past edits and see exactly what was changed and when.

Example Commands

Here are some commands you can try:

  • "Add 2 more sets to all chest exercises"

  • "Increase reps by 2 for week 3"

  • "Create a deload week with 40% less volume"

  • "Replace bench press with dumbbell press"

  • "Add drop sets to the last exercise of each day"

  • "Add a warm-up at the start of each workout"

  • "Swap day 2 and day 4 workouts"

  • "Add 30 seconds rest between all supersets"

Tips for Best Results

  • Be specific — mention which exercises, days, or weeks you want to change for more precise edits

  • Use phase names — if targeting a specific phase, reference it by name

  • Review before confirming — the AI shows proposed changes before applying them, so check the preview

  • Use undo if needed — press Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows) to reverse any AI edit instantly

Open the Program Builder and click the AI Command Bar in the toolbar to start editing your programs with natural language.
