New Trainer Not Showing in FitMetrics? Here's How to Fix It

If you added a new trainer in Trainerize but they don't appear in FitMetrics, you need to run a manual sync. Here's how.

If you added a new trainer to your Trainerize account but they don't appear in FitMetrics (e.g., not showing in the Trainer dropdown, not listed in Settings), this is a sync issue — not a bug. Here's the quick fix.


How to Fix It

  1. Click the Sync button (top right)

  2. Wait a few seconds for the sync to complete

  3. Refresh the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R)

  4. The new trainer should now appear


Why This Happens

FitMetrics syncs your trainer list from Trainerize when you first connect. After that, the trainer list is only updated when:

  • You click Sync manually

  • A webhook event involving that trainer is received

Adding a new trainer in Trainerize doesn't automatically send a webhook to FitMetrics, so the new trainer won't appear until you run a manual sync.


Where the New Trainer Will Appear After Sync

  • Trainer dropdown in the Trainerize Clients table (for reassigning clients)

  • Team Members section on the Trainerize Integration page

  • Trainer filter in Trainerize Messages and Compliance Tracker

  • Message Sender options in AI features and Automations


Still Not Showing?

  • Make sure the trainer has active status in Trainerize (deactivated trainers are filtered out)

  • Try syncing again and waiting 10-15 seconds before refreshing

  • If it still doesn't work, contact support
