The AI Meal Analysis feature automatically sends nutrition feedback every time a client tracks a meal.
Some coaches want the feedback to be shorter, and others prefer to disable it completely.
FitMetrics gives you full control over this.
Here’s how to customize it.
1. Where to Find the Settings
Go to AI
Open AI Meal Analysis
Click Configure
In the General Settings section, look for:
Nutrition Feedback
Remaining Calories / Leftovers Feedback
This is where you can edit, shorten, or disable feedback.
2. Option A — Disable Nutrition Feedback Completely
If you don't want the AI to send any feedback:
Set Nutrition Feedback to Disabled
This stops all automatic nutrition comments after a meal analysis.
Perfect if you want a cleaner chat for clients.
3. Option B — Make the Feedback Shorter (Custom Prompt)
If you want the AI to still give feedback but keep it short, direct, and to the point, you can switch to:
Then type your own instructions, such as:
Example 1 (Very Short Feedback)
Give a short 1–2 sentence summary only. Keep it simple and encouraging.
Example 2 (Strict + Short)
Give blunt, direct feedback in one sentence. No emojis, no fluff.
Example 3 (Macro-Focused Only)
Provide only the main macro improvement needed in 1 sentence. Nothing else.
Example 4 (Positive + Short)
Give a quick, friendly note focusing only on one improvement and one positive.
Example 5 (Coach Tone)
Act like a fitness coach giving quick notes. Maximum 20 words.
You can adjust the prompt however you like.
4. Option C — Disable “Leftover Calories” Feedback
The AI may also show a message such as:
“After this meal, you have approximately ___ calories left today.”
If you don’t want this:
Toggle Remaining Calories / Leftovers Feedback → Off
This removes the calorie-leftover message entirely.
5. Summary of What You Can Customize
✔️ Disable all feedback
✔️ Keep feedback but make it shorter
✔️ Customize the tone and length
✔️ Disable leftover-calorie estimates
✔️ Use a custom prompt to define exactly how the AI should respond
This gives you full control over how the AI communicates with clients during meal tracking.
