Not every client wants to participate in public rankings, and that’s totally fine. FitMetrics gives you full control over privacy and visibility for your leaderboard.

👥 Hide Names, Photos & More

To manage what appears on the public leaderboard, go to:

Leaderboard → Settings → Public

Here, you can toggle the following:

  • Hide Full Names: Only show initials or anonymous labels.

  • Hide Profile Pictures: Remove client photos for more privacy.

  • Hide Scores or Rankings: If you want to show participation but not exact rankings.

  • Choose Which Metrics Appear: Only show what’s relevant—hide weight loss, nutrition, steps, etc.

Everything is fully customizable depending on your business style and client comfort level.

🚫 How Clients Can Opt Out From Leaderboard

Some clients may prefer not to appear on the leaderboard at all.

Here’s how to remove them:

  1. Go to Trainerize Clients inside FitMetrics.

  2. Locate the column labeled Leaderboard.

  3. Uncheck the box next to any client who wants to opt out.

As soon as you uncheck it, that client will no longer appear in any leaderboard views—public or private.

✅ Why This Matters

Respecting client privacy is key to maintaining trust, especially in group environments. These controls ensure your leaderboard stays fun, competitive, and compliant with your coaching culture.

Use them smartly to strike the perfect balance between motivation and client comfort.
