How to Create and Organize Stages

Add, color-code, and reorder onboarding stages to match your business workflow perfectly.

Setting up your onboarding process in FitMetrics is quick and customizable.

Here's how it works:

  1. Click "+ Add Stage" at the top right of the Onboarding Pipeline.

  2. Name your stage β€” e.g. "Call Booked" or "Sent Plan."

  3. Choose a color to visually distinguish it.

  4. Drag and drop the stage into the exact order you want.

That's it.

You can create up to 10 stages per business to reflect your process. Whether you have 3 steps or 10, you're in full control of how clients move from "New" to "Onboarded."

Pro tip:
Use emojis in your stage names to make your pipeline even easier to scan at a glance. For example:

  • 🧠 Blood Test Booked

  • πŸ“© Questionnaire Sent

  • βœ… Onboarded

Organizing stages like this makes it effortless for you and your team to stay aligned and move clients forward.


Renaming a Stage

Click the pencil icon on any stage column header to rename it and/or change its color.

Note: Default stages that were created automatically when you first set up your pipeline cannot be renamed.


Deleting a Stage

Click the trash icon on a stage column to delete it. A confirmation dialog will appear before anything is removed.

Any clients in a deleted stage will automatically appear in your first stage column, where you can drag them into the correct stage.


Reordering Stages

Drag and drop stage columns left or right to change their order.

The order matters β€” the first (leftmost) stage is where new clients are automatically assigned when they sync from Trainerize.


Stage Colors

Each stage can have a custom color. Colors appear as a circle indicator on the stage column header, making it easy to visually distinguish stages at a glance.
