How to Get Your Trainerize API Token

Step-by-step guide to request API access from Trainerize, including email template, agreements, and credentials.

Overview (TL;DR)

  • You need the Trainerize Studio plan ($250+/month) to access the API.

  • Send an email to [email protected] using the provided template.

  • After signing their agreement, you’ll receive your Group ID and Token.

Prerequisites

  • Active Trainerize Studio Package subscription.

  • Admin access to your Trainerize account.

Step 1: Request API Access

  1. Open your email and compose a message to [email protected]. (Make sure is the same email that you bought trainerize)

  2. Use this subject line:
    ​Subject: API Access Request for FitMetrics

  3. Copy, paste, and customize this template:

    Hi Trainerize Team,

    I’m using the Trainerize Studio plan and want to integrate my account with FitMetrics.

    Could you provide API access (Group ID and Token) for my business?

    My trainerize subdomain is: https://xxxxxx.trainerize.com

    Also can you please add the Webhook endpoint to the following URL so we start receiving events?

    https://api.fitmetrics.ai/functions/v1/trainerize-webhook-receiver

Step 2: Sign the API Agreement

  • Trainerize will respond with their API agreement.

  • Review, sign, and return all required documents.

Step 3: Receive Your API Credentials

  • Once approved, you’ll receive your Group ID and API Token.

  • Example email:
